Four overground workers (OGWs), including a woman, were apprehended in the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir for allegedly assisting terrorists with logistical support, officials reported on Thursday (April 23, 2026). The arrests were made by police in the Hazratbal area of Srinagar on Wednesday night (April 22, 2026). The detained individuals were identified as Zahoor Ahmad Mir, Bashir Ahmad Bhat, and Ghulam Mohammad Bhat, all residents of Hazratbal. The woman, also from Hazratbal, was identified as Shazia Mohammad. Officials added that security forces recovered a hand grenade, 15 rounds of AK-47 ammunition, four mobile phones, and a sum of cash from them.
