Neil Armstrong’s childhood residence, a two-story house located at 601 W. Benton St. in Wapakoneta, Ohio, has been listed for sale for the first time in almost four decades. Built in 1908, the historic home is where the future Apollo 11 astronaut spent his early years, creating model aircraft and developing his passion for flying before earning his pilot’s license at just 16 years old. The property has been put on the market by its current owner, Karen Mikesell.
