Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a strong warning to the people of Pakistan during a public event in Bhuj, Gujarat, urging them to choose between peace and terrorism. “Live peacefully, enjoy your food, or else my bullet awaits you (Sukh chain ki zindagi jiyo, roti khao, warna meri goli to hai hi),” Modi cautioned the Pakistani people.

He emphasized that Pakistan’s government and military actively back terrorism as a way to earn money. Modi called on the Pakistani people, especially the youth, to rise up and eliminate terrorism from their country. “India’s fight is against cross-border terrorism and its sponsors,” he added. Earlier this month, India launched strikes on terrorist camps in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) under Operation Sindoor, in response to the killing of 26 civilians in Pahalgam Valley on April 22.

In Bhuj, Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation for multiple development projects valued at over Rs 53,400 crore. Reflecting on history, he recalled how during the 1971 war, Pakistani forces attacked Bhuj Air Base, but the women of Bhuj rebuilt the runway in just 72 hours. He praised their bravery and shared that he recently met these women, who blessed him and gifted him a sindoor plant that will be planted at the Prime Minister’s residence. “After India’s strong response, Pakistan was unsettled and even sent drones along the border areas, including Kutchh. The courageous women of Kutchh crushed Pakistan’s propaganda by restoring the Bhuj airstrip in 72 hours during the 1971 war,” Modi said.
