The Karnataka High Court has started proceedings in the Chinnaswamy Stadium stampede case after taking suo motu cognisance earlier today. The court has requested a detailed report from the government regarding any security failures. The stampede, which occurred during a felicitation event for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) after their IPL win, resulted in 11 deaths and injuries to 47 others.
